令和発祥の都 太宰府

太宰府は、かつて日本有数の役所「太宰府政庁」が置かれ、1300年を超える太古から世界・アジアの玄関口として、我が国・西日本・九州の政治・外交・防衛の要衝として栄えた国際文化都市です。新元号「令和」は、天平の世の大宰帥大伴旅人がこの地で主催した梅花の宴の様子を描いた万葉集序文より生まれました。四季折々の自然に彩られた名所旧跡や博物館・展示施設を巡りながら、令和発祥の都太宰府の悠久の歴史を感じてみませんか。

More than 1300 years ago, "Dazaifu", a govermment office was placed and played a key role as the center of culture and politics in Japan, New imperial era "Reiwa" was named after "Man'yoshu" (the oldest extant anthology of Japanese poery, dating to the eighth century) which depict plum blossom party (is called "Baika-No-Enn"). That was held by Dazaifu Governor-General "Otomo Tabito" in 730CE.
Visitoers can experience this history by walking around Dasaifu's many historic sites and museums which are beautifully colored through the four seaseons.
